This hands-on laser education program will enhance your knowledge of the science, safety, functionality, and importance lasers bring to everyday patient care. It will increase understanding of the benefits lasers provide in enhancing the quality of life. In this interactive course the attendees will be provided with hands on experience and the confidence they need to incorporate the laser safely and efficiently into everyday patient care.
Vulva Vaginal Atrophy (VVA) is a therapeutic challenge. Due to the restrictive use oft HRT there is a need for alternatives. Thermo-ablative fractional CO2 laser is feasible, safe and effective.
Several studies showed a significant reduction of symptoms and an improvement of quality of life in VVA patients and in Lichen sclerosus patients. Thus, laser treatment for vulvo-vaginal atrophy and for Lichen sclerosus is a new option.
Attendees are invited to accompany the laser treatment of one of their patients with VVA or Lichen sclerosus and to be part of the treatment team.
Course languages: English with simultanous translation in German, Swiss German and French
